Police called on Ruby Tequila's employees asking for paychecks

Employees of Ruby Tequila’s in Lubbock are saying they have not been paid for the past three weeks. A group of employees gathered at Fired Up Holdings, Inc. on Friday afternoon to collect their paychecks. The group was met by a few officers with the Lubbock Police Department.

Seminole man arrested after police pursuit reaches 100 mph

A police pursuit in Seminole ended in a cotton field early Friday morning after the vehicle stalled. Around 3 a.m., a Seminole Police Officer tried to pull over a white 2003 Mitsubishi Montero for a traffic violation in the 100 block of SW D Street.

Doors locked at Ruby Tequila's in Lubbock, Amarillo

Earlier this week there were reports of Ruby Tequila’s being closed down in Lubbock at both locations. We have checked each day to see if the restaurants were open the following day, as promised by the signage. Since then, the doors have stayed closed.

Lubbock Fire Rescue dive team pulls Jeep from Lake Alan Henry

The Lubbock Fire Rescue dive team helped Garza County Sheriffs office today at Lake Alan Henry to remove a vehicle from the lake. The vehicle was in about 10-15 feet of water at the main boat ramp. LFR dive team connected cables to the vehicle so it could be removed from the lake by a wrecker. There is no word on how the Jeep ended up in the water or if any serious injuries were reported.
