Police Report: Suspect in Lubbock man's murder injured while trying to destroy evidence

Two men in Albuquerque have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder after a man from Lubbock was shot and killed in Albuquerque. Police say 29-year-old Jesse James Bowers and 37-year-old Juan Diego Montoya were involved in the shooting death of 24-year-old Cody Fair on April 14, 2018, in front of a northwest Albuquerque laundromat.

Slain Texas Tech officer buried at sea today

Officials with the St. Augustine Police Department, St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office in Florida honored Texas Tech University Police Officer Floyd East Jr. this morning and escorted him to his final resting place.
